On 16 April Calin Huma, accompanied by his wife Claudia and daughter Ruxandra, was formally appointed Head of the Romanian Honorary Consulate in Winchester. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dan Mihalache, Romanian Ambassador to the Court of St James’s, Nigel Atkinson, Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, Roy Perry, Leader of Hampshire County Council, David McLean, Mayor of Winchester, Lilla Debelka, Secretary of State at the Ministry for Romanian’s Abroad, and Maureen Frost, Chief Executive of Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.
